Forgive me for not blogging more lately, its just been so crazy.
3 essays nailed within 4 weeks and one to go; Granddad began his battle with Cancer; Preparation for going to the US on Monday next; a trip to Derry and a wedding. Life happens all at once.
As William Barclay reminded me this morning, Jesus never promised to make life easy, just to make people great. Yet we expect so much comfort, particularly at this time of year, don’t we?

Emily and I are hoping that this is the last Christmas of being typical fat, white, selfish, Christian consumers. Our future dream is to be part of a radical love programme that reaches out at this time of the year to folk who have nothing and no-one. No idea what that looks like right now, but the flame has been ignited.
I’d love to hear your plans for Christmas. Fat, typical, or selfish, feel free to post.
Oh, and remember, because you’ll probably forget at some stage, JESUS IS STILL the reason for the season.
Give more than you get,
N
