This post has been brewing in the tank for a while, probably since Emm and I moved to the south summer past.
Ireland is Angry
It’s so obvious. On the roads, bad customer service, angry customers, facial expressions – the lot. Attitudes are soured. At first, Emm and I thought that it was us, I mean, with different accents and vehicle registration and all that, but now, I have changed my mind.
The Irish have been screwed by their government, shafted by the economy, abused by their dominant religious institution, and now they are taking to the streets to STAND UP.
People want TRUTH instead of lies, LEADERSHIP instead of bureaucracy, LEADERS instead of puppets.
Could there be a better time for the body of Christ to shine?
This Friday, people will take to the streets of Dublin to protest about these issues, and fair play to them.

Down there is just a horrible place to live in my opinion (having lived and worked there for a year). It's a cultural melting pot, which drives the locals nuts, and only makes them more racist and politically fierce.
The problem down there is more to do with the peoples attitudes and their primitive frames of mind. St Patrick's Day is coming up in March though so maybe that will cheer them up.
Is that why the pubs are full here?
Pretty much! Anywhere that people aren't happy the drink flows like the Nile.
Derry must be miserable then.
