September brings a new season in almost all of our lives, literally and metaphorically. Next Monday, my new season will really kick-off when I begin year two of my three year, BA (Hons) in Applied Theology on a full-time basis. And I am SO excited.
During this new season Bignorm.net should stay true to it’s mission statement: “To honestly and vulnerably wrestle with the issues that effect and challenge me as I ‘do’ life in the ways of Jesus.” And I will try to keep things a Little less PC, as previously promised too. BUT, with college, marriage and a renewed sense of priorities in my life, I cannot promise anything, but only, that it should be challenging and fun – a bit like my personality really.
So, it’s great to be back, back to the future that is, with the future being living my life as close to God’s plan as possible, and not everyone else’s plan. And, beginning a brand-new season in my life in marriage and education, with a revitalised spirit and even more realistic perspective on life and God in general.
Someone once said that life is “10 percent what you make it and 90 percent how you take it.”
To summarise in just four words (this is hard to do), my 10 percent effort is going to be: Honest, hardworking, graceful and optimistic.
Hit me with your four words, if you can.
Love you guys,
N

I'm a man of few words, so four isn't happening tonight, but for one I'd say "ambitious".
Your hair is in that icon picture anyway.
You are quite right, but I am a self-aware narcissist though!
