Radio GaGa

Yesterday was significant for both Cornerstone and me.

Brian Somerville and I had the privilege of speaking live on local BBC Radio. Mark Patterson (not Batterson), interviewed the likely lads for approximately 15mins. What surprised us both was how positive the interview really was.

Both Brian and I felt a sense of elation, not because of the quick clever grammar we were able to use, but the significance of what this stood for. Yesterday’s interview signified hours, months and years of prayer; prayer of the people of Cornerstone, Derry and Northern Ireland. The fact that we are now doing what others have prayed about for years is groundbreaking.

Infiltrating society and having a sound rapport with our city has took years for sure. The pressure is really on us. The responsibility will not be squandered I am sure.

What part are you going to play?
