On my electronic travels I have stumbled upon a another very interesting virus that is effecting loads around me and has certainly struck me in the past- Mad Church Disease. Here is a bit about it:
“In the 1990s, Mad Cow Disease killed millions of us cute little bovines. And since we’ve kind of been there, done that, so to speak, we thought we’d lend a hand.
Right now, there’s a epidemic called Mad Church Diseasethat is taking out church leaders left and right. It’s a disease of being burned out. Spiritually. Physically. Emotionally. Relationally.
Burnout is a disease that nobody talks about until it’s too late, and interestingly enough, it shares some very similar characteristics to Mad Cow Disease.”
