In the book of John, chapter six Jesus gets rid of a whole bunch of ‘fair weather followers’ by some hard hitting teaching. Twelve remain, to be quizzed by the master himself. “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Peter answers “To whom would we go..?”
Honest speaking, what else would you do with your life? I mean seriously, if you are not following Christ then who are you following?
To pour your life into God’s work is a safe bet I’d say. Folk talk about a huge sacrifice and giving up everything, but in reality, I know not of anyone who has ever felt that they have lost more than they have gained.
What are you pouring your life into?
